SIM loves winners! You've worked hard. You've got a good degree. And now you are postgraduate who has opted to remain in academia and work on a project directly connected with instrumentation.

You might be our kind of winner and we've got five postgrad awards at a very useful £2000 a pop.

And if that's not good enough news, it's YOUR MONEY to do with what you like: no questions asked!

There are strings, of course. You have to be at one of our sponsored universities (see below). You have to be put forward by your department. And you have to be good enough to win one of the five Awards as judged by our panel of experts.

And, oh, you have to send a copy of the final report of your project to us when you are done. That's it.

As a bonus, on offering the Award, SIM will invite you to become a SIM Livery Scholar which gives you access to most Livery events and access to the exciting networking opportunities that an historic, traditional, City of London Livery Company has to offer.
