How to join

How to join

Are you involved in developing, manufacturing or using equipment or instrumentation for science, engineering, medical electronics, communication systems, aerospace systems etc. Then you are eligible to join.

 

The Company has a number of levels of membership. The title 'men' is generic and applications are welcomed from all sexes.

  • Liverymen - these are people with established careers in scientific instrumentation or related fields
  • Freemen - this is open to new graduates and to those in the early stages of their careers
  • Scholars - the livery awards a number of scholarships each year and all recipients are invited to join livery events
  • Apprentices - the livery has a growing cadre of apprentices
