Support for City Priest running the London Marathon

Liveryman Alan Budge asks for your support for a City Priest who is running in the London Marathon – 21st April – in support of his brother who tragically died last year of Bowel Cancer, just a few months after being diagnosed. Full details of this request can be found here and are summarised below. To sponsor Josh go here.

  • Fr Josh Harris is running in memory of his elder brother Mark who sadly died from Bowel Cancer at just 45
  • He is trying to raise awareness of Bowel Cancer, in the same way that Dame Deborah James did through her recent “Bowelbabe” Podcast and various TV  interviews
  • He is running for the charity Bowel Cancer UK
  • Josh is Priest in Charge of the Guild Church of St Katherine Cree, City of London, where his ministry is dedicated to all City Workers
  • Josh is also Honorary Chaplain to Sheriff Dame Susan Langley, likely to become the next Lord Mayor of London
  • Josh needs as much support as possible to raise the money required for all London Marathon entrants

I commend his efforts to the Livery

Many Thanks and Best Wishes
Alan
