We are sorry to announce the death of Past Master David Townsley-Hughes on 5 January 2026. He was Master in 1992-3 and was also known by his patronymic heraldic name, Dafydd ap Maredudd. His gift to the Livery was the Msters Chair which is still in use. It is a Welsh Oak Bardic-style chair. He was a proud Welshman but had spent his latter years closer to his daughter near Watford. The Honorary Almoner, Sue John, will attend his funeral on 6 February 2026. Go here for more details and offer tributes if you wish.
