On Thursday 11th December, the Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers (WCSIM) Cambridge Hub held its first informal networking event at The Mitre pub in Cambridge. The evening brought together members of the Company based in Cambridge and the surrounding area, providing a relaxed and welcoming setting to meet, reconnect and exchange ideas.
It was a pleasure to see such a strong turnout and to spend time getting to know fellow members working across science, engineering, entrepreneurship and instrumentation. The informal format encouraged open conversation, shared experiences and the beginnings of new connections within the local WCSIM community.
The event marked a successful start for the Cambridge Hub, and we look forward to building on this momentum with future gatherings that continue to strengthen ties between members in the region.
