Singer Instruments (CEO Liveryman Harry Singer) are super happy to have won the Workplace Culture award at the amazing Tech South West event in November this year!
Representing Singer Instrument’s 60-strong headcount, the ‘Party Team’ headed to the Market Hall in Devonport to celebrate innovation, talent, creativity, entrepreneurship, business success, education, leadership and diversity. Covering the whole of the South West from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset to Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, the competition was tough. Singer Instruments were among many other companies competing in the fastest growing part of the region’s economy – tech.
Singer Instruments were fortunate enough to come away with a lovely trophy, celebrating everything we do to build and foster Workplace Culture. Freddie Heywood, QC Technician at Singer Instruments says,
The atmosphere at Singers, mixed with the potential for career growth is what makes me so glad to be working here. There is such a big focus on training, recognition of their staff and putting people in positions where they can excel. On top of this the atmosphere is phenomenal and it’s a great working environment.

And the party was great! The giant Jenga, immersive 3D dome and dress-up photo booth were brilliant. With free Champagne all evening we were made to feel like proper rock stars!
