Liveryman Andrew Ramshall was pleased and proud to receive this last week in recognition of his time at CEC and Jodrell Bank. This has been made from the original reflective surface of the Lovell Telescope and part of a tree from the arboretum.

Carol Service and Christmas Party
Last evening (9 December 2024) members attended the Carol Service at St Margaret Lothbury together with the Coleman Street and Broad Street Ward Clubs. The Chaplain, Jeremy Crossley led a heartwarming service supported by the wonderful choir. We then moved to our Hall to enjoy a Christmas party with some excellent food and wine , a draw for festive fizz presented by Santa and some great trad jazz played by the Hendo Washboard Kings. As you will see from the photos, some of our members were moved to demonstrate their bopping skills with increasing enthusiasm as the evening progressed!

Livery Careers Showcase – Guildhall
A number of WCSIM members, organised by Liveryman Ian Gilbert, have been at the Livery Careers Showcase this week. Supported with equipment kindly lent by NPL. The Master sends his thanks to all those who helped with this stall sharing the importance of livery and science to school pupils.
Primary Engineer Celebration Day June 16th 2023
The celebration day on 16th June was to showcase how well the children had done building their vehicles and how well they understood about the technology in the cars.
