It was a delight to see so many young science, technology and engineering students sharing their work through the STEMPOINT poster session at the Hall. The range of assignments – supported by universities, research institutes and commercial businesses – was incredible and included gene mutation research, quantum entanglement, biometrics, machine learning, generative AI and many more subjects. I was privileged to be asked to present award certificates to the students who demonstrated great dedication to their projects. – Jim Webster, Master.

One of our charity partners Primary Engineer are proud to be attending the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 26) in November as an exhibitor alongside Scottish Engineering and The International Network of Women Engineers & Scientists (INWES) and as part of the INWES STEM and the climate presentation.
The Four Liveries Lecture took place on Monday 21 September with members from The Lightmongers, The Clockmakers and The Spectacle Makers joining us.
The WCSIM Educational Trust is focused on young people studying Science and Engineering, with a leaning towards Scientific Instruments.
